Empowering Non-Profit Leaders to Create a Culture of Well-being
Ontario, Canada – YMCA WorkWell is proud to announce the launch of “Leading for Well-being” leadership certification program, a four-week virtual course designed to equip current and emerging leaders with the tools to create a thriving workplace culture. The program, running from February to April 2025, aims to deliver practical strategies for fostering well-being in the workplace.
The Leading for Well-being Program
Designed specifically for the unique challenges of the non-profit sector, this program focuses on leadership styles and behaviours that have direct impact on organizational well-being.
Sectioned into four interactive models, participants will explore such topics as personality dimensions, care-based leadership, active leadership, and humble leadership.
Upon completion, leaders will receive a YMCA WorkWell certification to enhance their professional development and demonstrate a commitment to workplace well-being.

Program Schedule and Module Highlights:
Module 1: Personality Dimensions February 19, 2025, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Discover how to leverage personality types to foster psychological safety and meaningful connections, empowering employees and enhancing team well-being.
Module 2: Care-Based Leadership March 5, 2025, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Learn to lead with empathy and emotional intelligence, focusing on personalized care, recognition, and an inward approach to well-being.
Module 3: Active Leadership March 19, 2025, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Explore strategies for staying actively engaged with team members while promoting autonomy and modelling sustainable well-being practices.
Module 4: Humble Leadership April 2, 2025, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Embrace humility as a leader by fostering collaboration, active listening, and shared leadership for a cohesive and empowered team.
